Extract Tables from PDF using Java - feature is not working

We are evaluating a purchase to the product but are having an issue testing the following functionality.

According to

It states “The issues you have found earlier (filed as PDFJAVA-38079) have been fixed in Aspose.PDF for Java 21.12”

We are running the sample code for Aspose.PDF for Java 21.12. We have setup a test project and are using the 21.12 but it is not working.

Under the section “Extract Tables from PDF programmatically” in order identify tables in a PDF and we are not seeing seeing any tables come back even though we know they are on the page.

We have tried the Aspose Cloud version of the api with the same PDF and it works. The output is as expected.

Before we pay for an update I want to see this working in the Java version.

Can you help us out?

In the referenced forum thread, there were two ticket which were logged. One of them was related to PDF to DOCX Conversion where table was not rendering correctly and it was resolved. However, the other ticket related to table extraction from PDF is still unresolved and pending for a fix. Nevertheless, could you kindly share your sample PDF with us as well so that we can also test the scenario in our environment and address it accordingly?

Attached are 2 examples:

test1.pdf (521.6 KB)
test2.pdf (83.6 KB)
