Using the test toolkit on the attached image.
If I tell it to only look for patchcodes, it finds Type IV, despite there not being a patchcode there.
This is a problem, since in our scanning app, every page is checked for patchcodes and therefore false positives like this are very problematic.
This was not a problem before v3.x

I have also reproduced this at my end and have also logged a bug for this issue (ID: 17611). We will look into it and will inform you as soon as we make any progress to fix it. Sorry for the inconvenience.
The issues you have found earlier (filed as BARCODENET-17611) have been fixed in this update.
