Feature to modify the tags of a tagged pdf using Aspose.pdf

I’m looking to load a tagged pdf document generated by Aspose.Word into Aspose.Pdf, to manipulate & find a table in the doc, then replace first row’s TD to TH in order to get rid of ADA issues. But seems like Aspose.Pdf API’s allows for appending/Creating new tag elements but not exposed to modify the existing tag structure itself. Is that the case or there is a feature supports what i’m expecting?

The reason for considering Aspose.pdf solution instead of Aspose.Word is due to the limitation of MS Word not considering header rows of a table when they are inside another table (Nested table scenario).

We need to further investigate your requirements. Would you please share a sample PDF document for our reference so that we can log an investigation ticket in our issue tracking system and share the ID with you.

@asad.ali,

Attached the sample input file which mocks the exact case & ADA issues we are facing. SampleInput.pdf (109.9 KB)

Problem statement:
We placed 2 tables side by side using another table (i.e. Nested Table). Due to this, Adobe accessibility check flags issues saying there is no headers in the nested tables. We would like to use Aspose.Pdf to manipulate the tagged content in the PDF and re-tag the TD’s to TH’s or add TH’s where ever required to get rid of the Accessibility issue. Would be great to know whether that’s achievable using existing Aspose.Pdf API’s?
