Fetch email and reply

Hello,

I really like Aspose but I’m not capable of doing one thing. I work with C# and I’d like to fetch an email by UniqueId and Reply that email. Could you please tell me how to do it with aspose?

Hello,

thanks for your reply. I’m not sure if that answers my problem. Could you tell where in your code you fetch an email from the inbox by Unique Id Message? At the moment I have several emails in my inbox and I’d like to find one of them and reply. Can I achive that with the code above?

Hello,

The suggested code sample doesn’t retrieve the message but lists the summary of the message in the form of MessageInfo that is used while replying. For your requirement, you need to search specific emails based on your requirements and that can be achieved using the ExchangeQueryBuilder. This will return only specific messages based on defined criteria and you can use it then to reply. Thus, in above code, where we are listing messages, you can specify the MailQuery as per your requirement.

When I try that I got an error saying Invalid URI.

Hi,

You can find your Exchange URI either through your server administrator or using the following steps if your account is configured in Microsoft Outlook installed at your end. Please note that if you are using Exchange Server 2010 or higher, you need to use the Microsoft Exchange Web Service client of the API rather than ExchangeClient (which is used for connecting with Exchange Server 2003 and 2007 for WebDav protocols. Also see Connecting to Exchange Server .

Steps:

With MS Outlook installed, right click on the Outlook icon (near the clock) and go to “Test Email Auto-Configuration” option
Enter your Email address and password and press the “Test” button.

It will give you a list of information having “Availability Server URL” that contains the URI. Please share your feedback with us if you need further information about this.

I use Microsoft Outlook 2014. I can’t see the “Test Email Auto-Configuration” option. Do you know where it is in the version 2014?
