File conversion

I am looking to programmatically convert Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents to images without using Office Automation.

It looks like your .Words and .Cells applications can do this. Does .Slides also have the ability to save the slides as images?

Another possiblity I am looking at is converting to PDF then to an image but it would be preferred if we could go directly from the original document to multiple image files. This application would be run on a server so it must be stand alone.

You will be pleased to listen that Aspose.Slides allows to generate slide image or thumbnail in known formats like JPG and PNG. You can also generate the PDF file of presentation. Aspose.Slides does all these things without using Office Automation. Please follow this link to download the latest version of Aspose.Slides for .NET.
