Hello,
My manager has asked me to gather more information regarding the fillThresholdFactor parameter for the benefit of our support documentation.
Page.IsBlank | Aspose.PDF for .NET API Reference
What is the default value?
What is the difference between setting the fillThresholdFactor from 0.01 to its maximum? As in, what kind of scenario will it effect?
What is the maximum double value that we can set?
The reason we ask is because it didn’t seem to make any difference what we set it to when we were doing our testing.

Thank you in advance.
Kind regards,

The threshold is basically range of RGB values. We need to investigate further to answer your all questions. However, can you please share your sample PDF with us? You can also try increasing blank page detection tolerance to 0.0001d and see if it works.
Sure. Here you go.
1 blank out of 4.pdf (20.8 KB)
0.0001d didn’t make a difference, it still picks the empty page up so that it could be deleted. It seems to not matter what value we use.

Sorry for the trouble. Are you saying that the API is detecting all pages of this PDF as blank pages regardless the value of the threshold you are passing?
Hello,
I’m saying that regardless of whatever I set the fillThresholdFactor to it accurately finds the blank page so that it can be deleted. Surely, setting it to different values has an impact but we can’t see what it is from our testing?
We just need more information for our support documentation.
