I was wondering if it was at all possible to find the location of text on a page. I know and have found if the text exists on a page but is it possible to find the x,y location of the text. What I would like to do is hyperlink some text that already exists within a PDF document but unless I now where to draw a rectangle then I cant hyperlink it (or interal link it).
Is there any chance that this could be moved up the queue, it would be a huge help for a project I am currently working on. If not do you have any sort of time line as to when this might be done?
In fact we know this feature is very useful and we want to support it ASAP. But because of technical reason we can't finish it in short time. We are still investigating this issue and we have not found a good solution in the .Net version.
Hello. I'm an Aspose Pdf Kit newbie. The first thing I'm trying to find out is how to identify the location of individual text in pdf's so I can programatically apply a link to that location. Would anyone be able to explain how to do this?
The requirement has been logged as PDFKITNET-9168 in our issue tracking system. We will try to add this new feature into Aspose.Pdf.Kit. But it may take several months. Your patience will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for the quick response. Is there any way, you could get this feature to be move to the top of the queue? I am trying to convince my boss to buy your product, but without this feature, I can not justify spending the money.
As Felix has already mentioned that it might take several months before this feature can be made available in the Kit, I'm afraid that due to certain constraints we can't move this feature up in the queue.
Our team is looking into this issue and you’ll be updated as we make some progress on this. However, I’m afraid I can’t share the ETA with you at the moment.
