Find mailmerge datasource

Hi there.
I’m trying to fix a problem for my company. I would like to know if it’s possible in Aspose to get the datasource of a Microsoft Word document. All I could find was how to do the merge, not find the datasource.
We have alot of word documents with linked datasources. What I would like would be to:

  1. Open a mailmerge document example “C:\doc1.doc” which have been created in word containing mergefields and setup to a mergefield.
  2. Get datasource path. example “C:\mergefile.txt”
  3. (optional) Merge the file and mergefile.
    If so, I would be very interrested in buying the product :slight_smile:

Thanks for your request. Unfortunately you can’t get mail merge data source specified in the document using Aspose.Words. This issue is related to # 5170.
Issue #5170 – Make it possible to specify MailMergeDataSource for a document.
