Flattening Polyline Annotations Connects First and Last Vertices

Hi Aspose,

I have polyline annotations on my pdf document that I want to flatten. However, during the flattening process, it automatically connects the first and last vertices with a straight line. For example, if I have a polyline annotation in the shape of a “V”, the flatten method connects the first and last vertices such that the shape changes to a triangle.

Is there any way to prevent this as I want to maintain the original shape of my annotation?

We were able to notice the issue in our environment using Aspose.PDF for .NET 19.11 and logged it as PDFNET-47393 in our issue tracking system. We will further look into details of the issue and keep you posted with the status of its correction. Please be patient and spare us little time.

The issues you have found earlier (filed as PDFNET-47393) have been fixed in this update.
