I see a lot of questions about this topic and a number of support items tracked ( PDFNEWNET-38616 .) but I don’t see any resolution and the problem still exists in 25.8.0.
Has any work been carried out on this and will this ever be resolved?
It seems you’re experiencing issues with the FloatingBox having a semi-transparent background in Aspose.PDF. This is a known issue tracked under the ticket PDFNEWNET-38616. Unfortunately, as of version 25.8.0, there hasn’t been a resolution yet.
To address this, I recommend the following steps:
- Update to the Latest Version: Ensure you are using the latest version of Aspose.PDF, as updates may include fixes for known issues.
- Review Documentation: Look through the Aspose.PDF for .NET API Reference for any updates or changes related to the FloatingBox class.
- Implement Workarounds: If the issue persists, consider using alternative methods to achieve a similar effect, such as layering multiple elements or using different types of stamps.
Please share any specific code snippets or examples where the issue occurs, and I will assist you further. Let me know if you need any additional help!
What workarounds exist for this issue? I can’t see another way to accomplish the task of putting a box in a specific location on the page with the required attributes and text.
Unfortunately, there is currently no workaround available as the issue remains unresolved. A new dedicated ticket, PDFNET-52168, has been logged in our issue tracking system to address this matter. This ticket has been linked to this forum thread, ensuring you will be notified as soon as the issue is resolved. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.
