Dear Support Team,
I am experiencing a similar issue with Excel to PDF conversion using aspose-cells-25.7.jar
. In my case, the font used in the Excel file is MS Pゴシック and Arial. However, when the PDF is generated using Aspose, the font appears bolder font than expected.
Interestingly, when I convert the same Excel file to PDF using either the built-in Microsoft Save as PDF option or the Adobe PDF converter, the font renders correctly and matches the original appearance.
Could you please advise how I can achieve the same font rendering ( lighter font ) in Aspose-generated PDFs as seen in Adobe-generated ones?
I’ve attached the relevant files in a ZIP archive for your reference.

Thank you in advance for your support!
Best regards,

Please check the image where i am trying to differentiate. Aspose generated fonts are more dark than MS/ Adobe Save as option.
I may be implemented wrongly.
could you please share the code snippet what you used to test?
Thank you

could you please check the comparison screen shoot?
@rakib786
From the screenshot, it appears that you are still using the file “Microsoft_PDF_generated.pdf” for comparison. Are you unable to download the previously shared file “excel_saved_by_Excel_Save_as.pdf” due to permission issues? Because this post was created by another user. Please create a new post, and we will share the PDF file generated through Excel on our end. You can compare it with the PDF file generated by cells, and you will get the same result.
@rakib786
Can you view and download the attachments in the post I created?
Sorry I can’t see open. it is showing the below error:
