Font changed during DOC->DOCX->DOC conversion

Hi Aspose Team,

When I do conversion from DOC into DOCX and then to DOC fonts are changed and as a result right arrow is displayed as a bullet.

Please see the attached examples:

1 - Source.doc - original source document
2 - Source.docx - file converted into docx without any modifications
3 - Source_tgt.doc - docx file converted into doc without any modifications

Right arrow is in Times New Roman in 1 - Source.doc

After conversion it becomes Symbol font
After second conversion it becomes SimSun font and arrow is displayed as bullet.

Please fix the issue.

I use Aspose Words 3.2.1 for Java

Do you have any update on that issue? I tested it with Aspose Words 10.0 and problem still exists.

The issues you have found earlier (filed as WORDSNET-4265) have been fixed in this .NET update and this Java update.
