Font-style is being changed when saving the file in PDF format

Hi Support,

We have two applications which are using two different versions of ASPOSE.Word dll.
“v.16.7” and “v.17.12”.
Attached is the input document which we are using in both the applications with are using different versions of dll.
Now, when we generate PDF document in using v.16.7 dll, the opt-put document font-style is fine. But when we generate a PDF document using v.17.12, the font-style looks completely different.

In the input word document, following are the two font-style we are using, but they are being converted to a different font-style.
Rockwell (body)
Country Gothic

The PDF generation code is straight forward, we are just calling “MailMerge.Execute”. Any reason why the font-style is changing drastically in v.17.12, but not in v.16.1.

Here is how it looks in different versions: https://www.screencast.com/t/LzW3cn6CmifB

Check out the attached zip file for the input document and 2 output documents generated using two versions of dll’s.

Input docASPOSE_Font_Style_Issue.zip (339.1 KB)

Please let me know whats going on here.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

@VijaySripada,

Please upgrade to the latest version of Aspose.Words for .NET i.e. 18.4 from NuGet. Hope, this helps.

Your Word document uses the following Fonts; so please also make sure that the following Fonts are installed on your both machine:

  • Rockwell
  • Century Gothic
