Fonts effect lost in conversion

Hi there,
The following fonts effects are lost when a word document of .doc & of .docx are convertered from doc to html using Aspose.Words.
When i save the doc files as .html in word, the following effects happened:

  • Underline words only, becomes a full under line
  • Emboss text effect lost, displayed as bold
  • Engrave text effect lost, displayed as bold
  • Small Caps will become All Caps
  • Double strike through is one strike through
  • Shadowed text becomes bold
  • Outlined text becomes bold
  • All double underlining appears as a single underline
  • Text direction is lost in the table

However in the converted version of the html file, the following happened

  1. Emboss text lost
  2. Engrave text lost
  3. Small caps text lost
  4. Underline words only, becomes a full under line
  5. Double strike through is one strike through
  6. All double underlining appears as a single underline
  7. Text direction is lost in the table

Is there any way to counter act these issues?
I have attached sample converter & saved html file, with the original .doc file.
Regards,
Helen.

Hi Helen,
Thanks for your request. I am afraid you cannot get around these problems. Because HTML does not support a lot of features available in MS Word. As well as MS Word does not support a lot of features available in HTML.
For example, Emboss, Engrave and Outlined text is not supported in HTML. Also, underline words only is not available. Other features you mentioned seem to be also unsupported in HTML.
By the way, I think, the following article could be useful for you:
