Hello Support staff,

I'm attempting to read a barcode from a jpg image.. Or something of that nature.

How would I go about scanning a single BarCode in Silverlight, and is it possible using silverlight or do I need to wrap some activex control eer what am I looking at here?

Thank you for your interest in Aspose products.

I am afraid, currently we do not support BarCode Recognition functionality on Silverlight platform. Although, you can create and render BarCodes using Aspose.BarCode.Silverlight assembly. For BarCode creation in a Silverlight applications, you can check Samples included in MSI Installer.

I have logged your requirement as a Required Feature in our system under Ticket ID BARCODENET-31069. As soon as we analyse this requirement, we will share the ETA for its implementation.

The issues you have found earlier (filed as 31069) have been fixed in this update.
