Generating templates with barcodes (QR)

I am trying to generate QR bardoes with the template. I do this, by modifying the text (student name, student age, student id) in the VALUE field. Sometimes it works, sometimes it gives me the error: “ERROR: 5: Error occured during generation process. Please contact support. Exception message: QR Barcode - incorrect version number” . Question: What are the limitations for creating the QR code ? as in size, nr. of. characters, illegal characters, etc).

Could you please share a sample text file which is creating issue during template generation. Also, please share a sample code snippet that you are using. We will test the scenario in our environment and address it accordingly.
