Getting &quot;Excel found unreadable context...&quot; after Refreshing Pivot Data

Hello,

I have a workbook I created in Excel 2010 with a pivot table that’s populated with data from a named range. In Excel, under the “Layout & Format” options, I selected the “Over, Then Down” option from the “Display fields in report filter area” dropdown. Then I added 8 fields to the “Report Filter” section of the pivot table, two fields as “Row Labels”, two fields as Values then saved the workbook.

Then I open this workbook using Aspose 8.1.2 and execute a RefreshData followed by CalculateData, followed by a Save.

Upon opening the workbook in Excel I get the following error:

"Excel found unreadable context in ‘Book2.xlsx’. Do you want to recover the contents of this workbook? If you trust the source of this workbook, click Yes."

Note, although moving the pivot table down in the worksheet will fix the error, it is not an acceptable option for me. The pivot table must be at the top of the worksheet.

Thanks for your posting and using Aspose.Cells.

We were able to observe this issue after executing the code you provided with your source Excel file using the latest version: Aspose.Cells
for .NET v8.1.2.4. The source Excel file gets corrupt and gives error message on opening in MS-Excel.

We have logged this issue in our database for investigation. We will look into it and fix this issue. Once, the issue is resolved or we have some other update for you, we will let you know asap.
