If I highlight a cell or row in the gridweb, it seems to overwrite the cells’ background color with a highlighted greyish color. Is there any way to set a highlight color for specific cells so that their background color will not turn grey?
In excelm the background color does not change when the cell is highlighted.

Do you mean to say that you select/highlight a cell or row by using mouse or arrow keys in the GridWeb, it changes the existing background color for that cell or row, if this is case, kindly create a sample project to show the issue on our end.
