HEIC and HEIF extension type support

Hi do you support HEIC and HEIF image to PDF , JPEG, PNG formats does ASPOSE support this conversion?

Thanks for your query.

I am sorry, but Aspose (Java) APIs might not support HEIC and HEIF images. Earlier, we logged an investigation ticket (IMAGINGNET-2540) to check the feasibility of the formats for the Aspose.Imaging API, but later found that the implementation requires support for the HEVC format, which is strictly covered by patents. Therefore, we discarded the support. Anyways, we will further check and may come back with more details on it.

Below ticket are logged in our issue tracking system for the sake of investigation and implementation of these formats in Aspose.PDF:

  • PDFNET-55665 (HEIC to PDF)
  • PDFNET-56671 (HEIF to PDF)

We will inform you once investigation is done and we have some news about tickets’ resolution.
