Help Convert word2pdf

Good Afternoon,
Several implementations of the word to pdf convertor (Aspose) solution have been tested, but none of them worked. I’m using the most recent dlls offered. Every single piece of sample code that you have provided and some research of my own didn’t solved the problem, so I will kindly ask you to analyse some issues:

  • Fonts;
  • Image on the header;
  • The positioning of the page Contents in the word file don’ t match the pdf file;
  • Wrong Positioning of the Images in the document tables.

This is an extremely urgent issue, so I’ll ask you to analyse the problem and send me a correct solution to this weird trouble.
In attach I sent you two files describing and sampling the problems founded.

Hi

Thanks for your request.

  1. As I can see only Myriad Pro fonts is not embedded into output PDF file. Is this fonts installed on your PC? Is it installed as TTF? Please attach the problematic font here for testing. I will check the issue and provide you more information.
  2. The problem with image position and position of textbox in your header occurs, because currently Aspose.Words does not fully support text wrapping of shapes. I linked your request to the appropriate issue.
    As a workaround, you can try using inline shapes instead of floating.
  3. I managed to reproduce the problem with rendering of table in the main story of the document and linked your request to the appropriate issue.
  4. The only image I can see in your document is in header (see item #2).

Best regards.

I installed the fonts on the server and I generated the PDF file again but the font in the document is still wrong. I attached to this email the fonts I used.

Do you plan to have fully support text wrapping of shapes? If so, do you plan to release it soon?

What I meant was the table that has the title "Gestão de trabalho realizado pelos PT ". The Cell with the title appears unformatted in relation to the rest of the table.
Hoping to hear soon from you,
Best regards

Hi

Thank you for additional information.

  1. I linked your request to the appropriate issue. You will be notified as soon as the problem with fonts is resolved.
  2. Yes, of course we are going to support all text wrappings. But currently, I cannot give you any reliable estimate regarding this issue.
  3. If the 4th is the problem with table (which I supposed is 3rd problem in your list), then please explain the 3rd one.

Best regards.

The issues you have found earlier (filed as 18487) have been fixed in this update.

We are happy to tell you that a very cool and important feature (filed as 7180) is included in the new version of Aspose.Words. Text wrapping around images and shapes when rendering Microsoft Word documents to PDF, XPS and printing is now supported. You can download the latest version from here.
