I have observed your comments and like to share with you that a ticket with ID SLIDESNET-37193 has been logged, as a feature request, in our issue management system for further investigation and resolution of the issue. This thread has been linked with the issue so that you may be notified automatically as soon as the issue will be fixed.
I have observed your comments and like to share with you that I have investigated it on my end and have found that the requested shape can not be added to a slide so a feature request has been made for implementation of this feature. We will notify you as soon as the support for it will be available.
How can I see what version this is expected to be added in. I would have thought this would be a simple fix but I don’t see this fixed in the latest release that just came out
I have observed your comments and like to share with you that the issue reported by you, SLIDESNET-37193, is pending for investigations at the moment. Our product team has been busy with the issues reported earlier, and the ones with higher priorities. You can only see the status of issue in very first post of associated thread, which in this case is displaying the status as “Unresolved”, as in the attached image. We will share the ETA with you as soon as the issue will be investigated.
Is there any update to this request? From reading the release notes, I see that there have been 3 releases since this request and it doesn’t appear that this has been implemented. Can you please confirm that my assumption is correct and provide an expectation update on this request?
I have verified the issue status from our issue tracking system and suggest you to please try using the following sample code to add Pentagon shape in your presentation.
Presentation pres1 = new Presentation(); pres1.Slides[0].Shapes.AddAutoShape(ShapeType.Pentagon, 100, 100, 200, 200); // in PowerPoint this is "Regular Pentagon" pres1.Slides[0].Shapes.AddAutoShape(ShapeType.HomePlate, 400, 100, 300, 200); // in PowerPoint this is “Pentagon” pres1.Save(“pres.pptx”, SaveFormat.Pptx);
I hope the shared information will be helpful. Please share, if I may help you further in this regard.
