How do I convert a pptx to a ppt?

There are things that I can do with an Aspose.Slides.Presentation that I can’t to with an Aspose.Slides.Pptx.PresentationX. Is there a way to open a .pptx file with Aspose.Slides.Presentation or to convert a pptx to a ppt? Thanks

I regret to share that the support for converting PPTX to PPT is unavailable at the moment. However, our development team is working on providing the desired feature in Aspose.Slides. An issue with ID 13419 has already been created in our issue tracking to provide necessary feature. This thread has also been linked with the issue so that you may be automatically notified, once the issue is resolved. At the moment, the partial support for PPT to PPTX is available. The link you sent is about converting ppt to pptx. I need to go in the other direction. Is that supported? Can you send me an example? Thanks

I regret to share with you that currently PPTX to PPT conversion is not supported in Aspose.Slides for .NET. As shared earlier, the issue ID 13419 deals with the provision of desired functionality and as soon as feature support is available, you will be automatically notified.
