How to add text and images to new powerpoint slides

I just started working on ruby and rails and I need to create a powerpoint file in my project.

I am trying to use aspose rest api and did not find any documentation on examples of how to add text and images to a newly created powerpoint slides. I found some documentation how to replace existing text but not how to add new text.

Could any one give some example code for ruby ? and I really appreciate it.

I am afraid, Aspose.Slides for Cloud does not provide your required features at the moment. I have registered the following feature requests in our issue tracking system. Our development team will further analyze these features and see if and when these can be supported.

SAASSLIDES-128 : Add Text in a Slide

SAASSLIDES-129 : Add Image in a Slide

These thread is linked with the above issues and your will get a notification once the features get released.

However, these features are supported in Aspose.Slides for .NET & Java API (if you are interested). Please see the following documentation links for details with respect to Aspose.Slides for Java:

have received a feedback from development team and both the issues i.e. SAASSLIDES-128 and SAASSLIDES-129 are scheduled for implementation and release in May 2014. As soon as these features will be available, we will notify you via this forum thread.
