How to convert current .ASPX page to PDF

Support,

We currently have purchased Aspose .PDF and would like to convert our ASPX (.NET web page) to PDF.

We have successfully done it with one line of code with EssentialObjects ASPX to PDF function.

How can we do the same thing with Aspose PDF .NET object?

Here is the example: http://www.essentialobjects.com/Products/EOPdf/ASPXToPDF.aspx

I would like to do the same thing with Aspose PDF.

Thanks,

Matt

Thank you for using our product.

To convert your .aspx page to PDF, Please check the following documentation link for the details and sample code regarding how to convert your HTML page to PDF (it explains how to convert a web page hosted over some web server to PDF which is applicable for ASPX pages as well.)

If your requirement is different, please share some more details regarding your requirement and we will get back to you.

Sorry for the inconvenience,

Hi Matt,

Adding more to Nausherwan’s comments, please note that currently Aspose.Pdf for .NET supports the conversion of simple HTML and aspx pages and I am afraid currently it does not support complex CSS and inline styles. The development team is working on improving this feature and with every new release version, we try to provide a better and robust HTML to PDF conversion support.

PS, I have tried converting the sample link which you have shared and have observed that there are lots for formatting issues. Can you please share the exact HTML/ASPX which you need to convert, so that we can try converting it.

Okay, it looks like we will have to purchase the Essential Objects package. It works extremely well with complex CSS and inline styles. It rendered our very complex HTML page flawlessly.

Please improve your product in future to support this feature.
