How to use Aspose.Diagram on WinForms

Hi,


I’m planning to purchase Aspose.Diagram for .NET. The documentation looks promising but I need to see it work on my test winforms app.

Is there a tutorial or any documentation aside from the one included on the downloaded installer?

I need to know how to show a Visio Sheet and Add/Remove/Customize objects programatically.

Hi Mark,

Thanks for considering Aspose. Of course, you can use Aspose.Diagram for .NET in WinForms applications and all the examples in the documentation should work with any Web or WinForms application. Aspose.Diagram for .NET online documentation is also available at http://www.aspose.com/documentation/.net-components/aspose.diagram-for-.net/index.html

No sheet viewer control is available to show Visio sheets in your applications however a new feature request in this regard has been logged into our issue tracking system as Diagram-31021. You can add, remove or customize objects as described in http://www.aspose.com/documentation/.net-components/aspose.diagram-for-.net/adding-a-new-shape.html and http://www.aspose.com/documentation/.net-components/aspose.diagram-for-.net/updating-shape-properties.html but this is just a workaround. We are also planning to introduce an easy way to add, remove or manipulate objects but this feature will be implemented during issue Diagram-29083 (Creating Visio files from scratch) resolution. We will keep you updated on both these issues in this thread.
