HTML codes render as question mark (?) when converting to PDF/RTF

Hi,

I have a basic HTML document which I’ve attached to this thread. This HTML document contains HTML codes. It seems that when converting this HTML document to RTF/PDF using Aspose Words Java 11.11, these HTML codes are being rendered as questions marks (?).

Example:



�This is a test with quote�



When converting this document to PDF/RTF, it will render as :

?This is a test with quote?

-instead of-

"This is a test with quote"

Please take a look at the attached files so you can reproduce on your end.

While using the latest version of Aspose.Words i.e. 11.11.0, I managed to reproduce this issue on my side. I have logged this issue in our bug tracking system. The issue ID is WORDSNET-7666. Your request has also been linked to this issue and you will be notified as soon as it is resolved.

The issues you have found earlier (filed as WORDSNET-7666) have been fixed in this .NET update and this Java update.
