HTML with embedded Excel file conversion to Word not working-

Hi there

I am converting html file to Word.
In my html I have a tag like this:
<embed src = “C:\myfile.xlsx”, type = "“application/vnd.ms-excel” /embed>
After conversion, no embedded document can be found in *.docx .
If we embed image file (.gif) everything works fine.
We tried using with no luck.
Do you support embedded objects in HTML?

Thanks for your inquiry. Please note that Aspose.Words’ HTML engine tries to mimic the way the Microsoft Word works. To you, this means that if you convert your HTML file to Word document using Aspose.Words, the output will appear almost exactly as if it was done by Microsoft Word. Could you please also attach your input Html/Excel documents here for testing? We will investigate the issue further on our end and provide you more information.
