Hi there,

we are still testing Aspose.CAD and the Question arises … is it possible to render Objects solid instead of wireframe?

e.g. i want every room to be rendered in a different color … and the color is assigned in the ifc … but renders only a wireframe.
When i look on top of the Walls … How great would it look with a hatch-style on the Walls…
The customer could easily differ walls from spaces.

I have observed your requirements and like to share that Aspose.CAD is capable of rendering CAD file to PDF/Images as they are. Secondly, it allows to export the individual layers in CAD to PDF or Image as well. It depends on your CAD file that how layers are organized in it. I also suggest you to please visit this documentation link for your kind reference.

as far as i understood (in context of IFC-Files):

  • its only possible to render Wireframe’s
  • its not possible to render specific Objects/Storeys

This renders the component unusable for us.
