We are currently evaluating AposeSlides.Net for use in our organisation. However it's a key feature to be able to get formatted text into a powerpoint slide.
This can either be a limited set of RTF or limited set of HTML - but the basics like lists, bold, italics, font colour, etc.
This is a deal breaker for us in terms of using Aspose.
Please can you revert to paul.degoede@portfoliometrix.co.za
I like to share that support for RTF or html text reading is unavailable in Aspose.Slides for .NET. You may need to implement your own parsing routine to implement this and make it work able on your end. Actually, there may be a tog for italicizing text or setting text to bold in html or RTF. But, Aspose.Slides for .NET does not work on the same principle, so an intermediate parsing routine has to be written on your end to make things workable with Aspose.Slides for .NET. Hope it clears the query.
