I
tested if there is an advantage of an update from 2.7 to 4.5.0 for the
java barcode library (barcode reading). However it seems that the
detection
of barcodes for the 4.5.0 version is much slower and the detection rate
worse than 2.7.0. When will you release a version that improves
detection compared to 2.7.0?

It is worth noting that we are making significant entrancement in the recognition module and hope to improve it up to your expectations. With our upcoming version of Aspose.BarCode for .NET product, we have provided support for vector based algorithm that has improved the barcode detection rate during our beta testing. As soon as we port the .NET version of the product to Java version, the above said enhancements will automatically propagate to Aspose.BarCode for Java.
