Hi,
I am using MS word 2007’s insert alignment tab feature in the footer of the document for inserting some text. If the word document is converted to pdf, the pdf will not retain the tabs inserted and shows text one after the other. Could you please address this issue?

As a workaround, you can use table with 3 columns instead of tabs.

Your document uses w:ptab Absolute Position Tab characters which Aspose.Words does not support yet. We have scheduled this for implementation sometime in March 2011.
In the meantime you can try to workaround either as Alexey suggested above or replace these tabs with “normal” tab characters in MS Word.
The issues you have found earlier (filed as WORDSNET-2932) have been fixed in this .NET update and this Java update.
