Installation error with Aspose.Excel

Hi,
I’m currently evaluating Aspose.Excel but can’t get it installed. Near the end of the installation a Aspose.Excel pop-up box appears with Unknown Error (-1) and an OK button.

The event viewer shows the following :

The description for Event ID ( 11001 ) in Source ( MsiInstaller ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. The following information is part of the event: Product: Aspose.Excel – Error 1001. Unknown Error (-1)., (NULL), (NULL), (NULL).

Any ideas whats going on?

Hi Dave,

Do you have any trouble to run other msi setup package? Maybe your msi package is not downloaded successfully.

What’s the version of your Aspose.Excel? What’s the exact size of the msi package?

Thanks for the quick reply Laurence. I read in one of your other posts about copying an existing installation and managed to get version 3.2.4.1 installed on another machine. It’s obviously a problem with my PC not your product which so far looks like it could be the solution we need,
