Installation of an additional version of Aspose.Words

Hi Aspose,

I have got a technical question:
Can I install an additional version of Aspose.Words on my development machine, i.e. having for example 5.0.1 as developing version installed, could I install 6.0 additionally, so that I could quickly change references for testing purpose? That is I want to test the behaviour of your new implementations
of some Aspose classes.

Hi

Thanks for your request. You need only Aspose.Words.dll to work with Aspose.Words. You can have different versions of Aspose.Words.dll in different places on your PC.

thanks for your quick answer.
So, for getting the additional Aspose.dll I have to run the setup of the new package. But will the setup overwrite/replaces my existing installation?

Thanks for your request. Yes, new installation package will overwrite an existing version. However, you can copy old version of Aspose.Words.dll and save in another location. You can find Aspose.Words.dll here:
C:\Program Files\Aspose\Aspose.Words\Bin
