We have Aspose Total .Net version 22.6. We just purchased a license will that license file continue to work with version 22.6? Is the license file tied to a specific product version?
Aspose.Total for .NET licenses are not tied to a specific product version, but they are tied to a subscription period. When you purchase an Aspose.Total license, by default, it includes a one-year subscription, during which you can use any new product versions released.
- If your license was purchased after the release of Aspose.Total for .NET version 22.6, it will work with that version, as well as any version released within your subscription period.
- Once the subscription period expires, you can continue using the versions of the product that were released during your subscription, but you won’t be able to upgrade to new versions unless you renew your license.
- The license file itself is not tied to a specific version like 22.6, but rather to the release date of the product relative to your subscription.
If your license was bought recently, it should work with version 22.6 as well as any newer versions within the subscription period. To check your license’s expiry date, please open it into some text editor (e.g., Notepad - please don’t edit or modify it as even a single char could make it invalid) and check the license’ expiry date for your reference.
Please let us know if you find any issue or still have any confusion.
