Issue converting .VSDX to .SVG

Hi!

We are going to use Aspose .NET Microsoft Visio File Processing APIs.
We found an issue when converting VSDX files to SVG via Processing API, there are cut out areas in the Visio file. Converting to pdf-format works correctly but converting to SVG not. Converting to SVG format is critical feature for us. I attached files with examples.
Is it known issue? Can you provide solution, please?

Thanks,
Serge

Hello Serge,

I understand that you are facing challenges with converting VSDX files to SVG format using the Aspose .NET Microsoft Visio File Processing APIs, particularly with certain areas being cut out in the SVG output. While the PDF conversion works correctly, the SVG output is essential for your requirements.

This issue may stem from how the SVG format interprets specific elements or shapes within the Visio file. Although there is no documented known issue regarding this specific problem, here are some suggestions to help troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:

  1. Check Shape Properties: Verify that the shapes in your VSDX file have the appropriate properties set. Hidden or overlapping elements can sometimes lead to unexpected results in the SVG output.

  2. Update Aspose.Diagram Library: Ensure you are using the latest version of the Aspose.Diagram library. Updates often include bug fixes and enhancements that may address your issue.

  3. Use Alternative Formats: If the SVG output continues to present problems, consider converting the VSDX file to another format (such as PDF or PNG) and then using a different tool or library to convert that output to SVG.

  4. Contact Support: If the issue persists, I recommend reaching out to Aspose support with your specific files and detailed information about the problem. They may offer more targeted assistance or identify if there is a bug that needs to be addressed.

If you have any further questions or require additional assistance, please feel free to ask!

Best regards.
