Issue detection with bmp format whereas detected with jpeg format

We currently use .NET Aspose.BarCode v7.2 in our software. And we have encountered a barcode detection issue with your software with bmp format. Whereas barcode detection happens with the same content with jpeg format. Our software is designed to generate only bitmap content for various reasons. So, design change is not an option for us.

There is no issue with both the image if scanned with a simple barcode scanner. The issue is even reproducible with your latest version i.e. .NET Aspose.BarCode v17.5. Please refer the attached files which are generated from same barcode content in bmp and jpg format in 600 dpi.

Our customer is agitated with this problem. Could you please let us know when can we have the fix ?

@emtexltd,

We have investigated the issue at our end. Initial investigation shows that the issue persists. We are able to read the barcode text as 020303000000 and type as Interleaved2of5 with the latest version of Aspose.BarCode using JPEG image. The issue has been logged into our system with ID BARCODENET-36659 for further investigation by our Product team. We’ll update you here once there is some information or a fix version available in this regard.

We have procured a new license this month but we are unable to upgrade to the latest Aspose.Barcode because of some issues. And this is one of them. Any update on this ?

@emtexltd,
