Issue with merging documents that contains .tiff

i don’/t fully understand why i can’t merge a document that contains .tiff … the code be works

but when i try to combine it, i get an exception: “Cannot open an image. The image file format may be not supported at the moment.”

Can someone explain to me what this exception means and how do I get around it?
