We are using licensed Aspose Words for Java 10.3.0. We are facing issues while we import docx word format created in Microsoft Word 2013. However, doc format works fine. I tried converting docx to doc which works fine. Can you let me know what version of MS office is supported by Aspose 10.3.0 ? Also, let me know if there are any limitations.
Thanks for your inquiry. The support for Word 2013 documents was introduced in Aspose.Words 17.3. You are using older version of Aspose.Words. MS Word 2010 documents are supported by this version.
Please note that we do not provide support for older released versions of Aspose.Words. Moreover, we do not provide any fixes or patches for old versions of Aspose products either. All fixes and new features are always added into new versions of our products.
We always encourage our customers to use the latest version of Aspose.Words as it contains newly introduced features, enhancements and fixes to the issues that were reported earlier.
