Java .cells - Maven support

When can we expect some(any) sort of support for Maven?

Having to manually download releases from your website, repackage the docs into a -javadocs.jar and then upload them back to our internal Nexus repo (along with the binary JAR) is a pain and 100% completely avoidable.

At least could you provide a pre-packaged .jar for the javadocs in addition to the binary in the download ZIP?

Hi,

I am afraid, we have not published Aspose APIs on Maven repository yet but currently, we are evaluating the technical viability of publishing our APIs to Maven repository. We will update you as soon as we make further inroads into the task.

Keep in touch.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused!

Hi,

We are pleased to announce that Aspose has launched the Aspose Cloud Maven Repository and now supporting Aspose.Cells for Java Maven Dependency.

Thank you - this is a great start. Please could you add the Aspose.Cells -javadoc.jar to your Maven repo as well?

As it stands, your Maven repo is not as useful as it could be without the compiled Javadoc JAR in there alongside the 8.1.2.jar binary - I still have to use our internal repository.

Hi,

Thanks for using Aspose.Cells.

We have noticed your requirement. We will let you know once we add Aspose.Cells -javadoc.jar to our Maven repository.

Hi Nick,

We are pleased to announce that we have added javadocs support in Aspose Cloud Maven Repository for Aspose.Cells and for all other Aspose Java APIs, so from now onward you will be able to fetch the Aspose Javadocs on Major IDEs including Eclipse IDE, NetBeans IDE and IntelliJ IDEA.
