I was wondering about
- does the library creates new MPP Files or just editing existing ones ?
- does the library have a ganttchart component that i can renders it on a jsf page ?

Thank you for contacting Aspose support team.
Aspose.Tasks for Java allows editing the existing MPP files. You may please use one empty MPP template file for your use such that it is loaded in the beginning and then may save it as MPP after processing the project data.
This library provides rich features for processing the Gantt chart however it does not provide any viewing element. You may please export the Gantt chart data to JPEG, PNG or PDF file and use it in your views wherever required. Please visit here for more details on working with Gantt charts.
