We renewed our asp.net Aspose Word license in June 2023. But we are getting “Invalid license signature. Please make sure the license file was not modified.”
We are using Aspose.Words 17.5 version. Please help
@cio-20.ntsb.gov Usually such issue occurs when a new license is used with old version of Aspose.Words (pre 17.10.0 version). You should use your old license with the old version of Aspose.Words and new license with the new version.
Please note you can use the old license with the old version of Aspose.Words perpetually.
Thanks Alex. We are still using the old license in Production. We did not change anything in Production. Aspose word stopped working from yesterday.

Could you please check what is the expiration date of your license? Just open it using notepad and check the following tags:
<SubscriptionExpiry>20220218</SubscriptionExpiry>
It means that you can free upgrade to version of Aspose.Words published before 02/18/2022.
If you are still using the old license SubscriptionExpiry should be something like this 2017MMDD or 2018MMDD.

Production version does not have any entry for subscription
License lic and the dll component packages are completely different. Aspose is flexible. They don’t make you to upgrade or annual renew.
