License not being set

I’ve read through documentation, ive read through forums and cant seem to figure out the issue.

First, i went and downloaded the license from my account. Next i downloaded dll package for a version that was released before the expirey of my license.

I have both the dll and the lic files in the same folder and have also set the liense in code using the file name as directed.

Then i try to execute code and get the at most 4 elements(for any collection) error for evaluation mode.

Have you made sure that your license is not being used somewhere else as well? Please share your license file with us in a private message which we are sending you shortly. We will test it in our environment and address the issue accordingly.

Thanks for sharing the license in the private message. We have tested it with 20.1 version and noticed that it threw below exception:

ok thank you, as noted this was the license i just downloaded out of the site admin.
in meantime i will try to download other releases to see if i can find one that will work.

We have investigated the ticket and found that you have received License that uses SHA256 hash algorithm which is supported from version 21.3.

The issues you have found earlier (filed as PDFNET-51458) have been fixed in Aspose.PDF for .NET 22.3.
