Loading Remote Template

Hi

I see that the latest release 2.7 OCR for Java has the ability to load Images from remote location over http. Can we load Templates (amr) files also similarly, instead of relying on locally available ones?

Thank you for your inquiry.

I am afraid that currently Aspose.OCR APIs does not support the required functionality. However, a feature request has been logged in to our system with ID OCR-34140. Our product team will look in to it and we will update you accordingly.

Hi

Just checked the fix that was posted. This fix seems to be for .NET version and not the JAVA version to which I originally posted this query.

Thank you for writing back.

Please note, any feature request is first implemented in the .NET API and the changes are auto-ported to Java version. That means, as soon as Aspose.OCR for Java 2.9.0 is available for public use, the feature will be automatically available with the Java API. In order to track the feature request in perspective of Aspose.OCR for Java, we have attached the appropriate ticket OCR-34172 to this thread.
