Looking for a solution to decode 2D barcodes scanned with Motorola MC55 running Win Mobile 6

Hello,

My organization just purchased a Motorola MC55 running Windows Mobile 6.1. I've been working on a data collection application in Visual Studio Vb.Net for this device. The solution

I'm looking for is an API that will decode 2D Data Matrix barcodes scanned into my application

from the MC55 imager scanner. I see examples on the ASPOSE website for reading barcodes

from image files ie (.jpg), however I would like a solution to decode the barcode directly from the

imager scanner. Does ASPOSE have a product for this that I can use on this platform ?

Thanks

Hi,

Thanks for considering Aspose.

I am sorry, the API can read barcodes from images stored in memory card/disk. It cannot directly read the barcode from the scanner or camera. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi
I am also looking for a solution to scan 2d data matrix bar codes from Motorola mc55.
I have installed data wedge in mc55 but it is only scanning linear bar codes. i am trying in different complicated settings of data wedge but still no success…Please i would be grateful if some one tell me the exact data wedge settings or guide me in right direction

Hi,

Thank you for inquiry.

Please refer to http://www.aspose.com/documentation/.net-components/aspose.barcode-for-.net/sample-device-application-to-recognize-barcode-image.html for documentation and sample code to recognize barcodes using Aspose.BarCode for .NET (compact framework). 2D barcodes are also supported.

You may download the evaluation version from here. The evaluation version can read only code39 barcodes. For reading other barcodes, you need either a temporary or valid license for “Aspose.BarCode for .NET”. Please visit http://www.aspose.com/corporate/purchase/temporary-license.aspx for instructions for getting a temporary license.
