Losing fonts when saving document to PDF

We have a word document that uses the century gothic font. When saving the doc as PDF, the font reverts back to something else. Basically, it cannot seem to let us open the doc, mail merge it, and save it as PDF without losing the gothic font. We’ve tried a few things… We can open the document on the server in Word and it opens correctly with the font in tact. It just seems to be converting to PDF is where the font gets lost. Do we need to install the font on the server? IF so, how would we do that? The strange this is the document opens correctly on the server in MS Word… so installing the fonts nay not be the answer.

Please let me know if there is a way to retain the font when saving the doc to PDF format. I’ve attached the document for review as well.

Thanks for your inquiry. Please note that Aspose.Words requires TrueType fonts when rendering documents to fixed-page formats (JPEG, PNG, PDF or XPS). You need to install fonts that are used in your document on the machine where you are converting documents to PDF. Please refer to the following article for details. You can also implement IWarningCallback to get missing fonts information.
