Macros/ActiveX and digital signing

Hello.
I have an apparently quite simple matter :
I have a doc, with a digitally signed macro/vba project (in order to avoid the ‘this not a safe document’ alert when opening it with word).
I need to merge it, server-side, with another doc.
However, the digital signature is lost.
I’ve searched the forum, and found that, with a dot file, the digital signature should not be lost.
However, as soon as my signed doc is open, the digitla signature is lost.
And simple open/save is enough to get rid of the signature.
This is quite annoying for distributing word doc …
Is there a way to achieve this ?
Please find a simplified template attached. I’ve tried word2000/2003 and 2007 without any luck.

Hi
Thanks for your request. I managed to reproduce the problem on my side and created new issue #7003 in our defect database. I will notify you as soon as it is fixed.
As a workaround you can try using document that refers to template (.dot) that contains signed macro.

Hope this helps.
Best regards.

Many thanks for your quick answer.
I try this asap.
Feel free to ask for any details that could help.

The issues you have found earlier (filed as 7003) have been fixed in this update.
