Mail Recipient is not supporting in Aspose Word

Hi Team,

We are using Aspose Word API to generate the Merge document. Currently we are using Aspose.Word version 13.12.0.0. We have document template configured with mail recipient (to, cc, subject) values and some merge fields. Generated the word document with the help of Aspose API by passing the template and merging the fields. But after open the document recipient values are lost (Tried with latest 16.4.0 jars). Please let us know is it possible to generate the document recipient values?

Thanks
Suryakala

Hi Suryakala,

Thanks for your patience.

Please note that Aspose.Words mimics the same behavior as MS Word does. If you save your document to Docx file format, you will get the same output. However, we will fix this issue for Doc file format.

We will inform you via this forum thread as soon as the ETA of this issue is available. We apologize for your inconvenience.

The issues you have found earlier (filed as WORDSNET-13729) have been fixed in this Aspose.Words for .NET 17.3.0 update and this Aspose.Words for Java 17.3.0 update.
