MailClient.ExistFolder(folderName) return false while sending folder name which is not in English

Hi,

I want to retrieve all messages from a certain folder. When folder name is not in English mailClient does not recognize folder name while calling MailClient.ExistFolder(folderName) although I send the right folder name.

  • Aspose version: 19.6.0.0
  • Email server: IMAP and Exchagne. (I only checked on IMAP. I didn’t check on Exchange)
  • I checked on IMAP Gmail server.

Are you support with folder name which isn’t in English?
If you do support - Can you please explain me what I’m doing wrong?

Thanks,
Naomi.

@JoGeorge,

I have observed the information shared by you and request you to please provide sample test account along with used sample code that we may use on our end to verify the issue. Please also first try using latest Aspose.Email 19.8 on your end as well.

Hi,
Thank you for your reply.
I can’t upgrade to 19.8.
my test account details is:
user: aaabbbkry@gmail.com
pass: 3pop3test

before testing I changed settings to work with IMAP

Thanks,
Naomi.

@JoGeorge,

I have observed your comments. Can you please try to use Aspose.Email latest version 19.8 on your end because you are using old version. I also like to inform that as per company policy support always provided based on new version so please try to use latest version and if there is still an issue than report here so that we may help you out.

@JoGeorge,

We have also tried accessing your account using latest Aspose.Email for .NET 19.8. However, there seems to be access issues as well for account. Can you please try using latest version on your end and in case the issue is reproduced using latest version, please provide the working sample project as well.

Hi,
Sorry for my late answer.
Can you please test it again in last version?
I accidentally changed account to work with pop3 instead of imap.

Thanks,
Naomi.

@JoGeorge,

I have observed your comments and suggest you to please share the sample code reproducing the issue on your end so that we are on same page while investigating the issue.
