Making mailmerge more than once on a document

Hi,
We are using Aspose.Word the generate documents, with data from our application.
We would like to be able to do an mailmerge, based on a template, and create a document. This

document will the be edited by a user, over a period of several days or weeks.When the user is finished editing this document, the user would like to make a refresh of the already mailmerged data.

Is this possible? Is it possible to keep in the mailmerge fields data, hidden from the user, and then do a second mailmerge, updating the already mailmerged data? and not delete the manual typed in data.?

Thanks for your request. If you would like to fill the document with data and then fill the same document with other data, it is impossible using mail merge approach. During mail merge, merge fields are replaced with values (static text).
If you need to fill document with data several times, you can consider using bookmarks or form fields.
