Please kindly advise the displayName string limits of MapiDistributionList:

MapiDistributionList(displayName, members)

displayName can be how many chars maximum?
And which chars are allowed/disallowed in it?

I don’t know, the size of DisplayName is limited by Outlook. Please refer to Outlook documentation, you should search for message subject limits.
